Puzzles

I picked a gummy worm from the bag and began sucking on it, then turned a page of my book. To the left of me was a lady who kept dosing off then waking back up. To the right was a girl a little older than me who was going back and forth between a Cosmo Girl magazine and the window. We were in the second to last row and a line was slowly forming in the aisle for the bathroom. It was going to be a long flight.

I got out my ipod. People don’t understand how I can read and listen to my ipod at the same time. But then again there are a lot of things people don’t understand about me. Especially when they think they have me completely figured out, that’s when you know they don’t get me at all.

We really don’t know a whole lot about people do we? We get bits and pieces of them, then try to put together the whole puzzle. But a lot of the time the puzzle turns out looking different for other people. I guess it depends on what pieces you get.

Strange what thoughts come to you when you’re bored on an airplane.
