Aiden said.

I looked down at my sneakers and then turned around and said,
“No…it’s..it’s..okay you can stay at my house..”
All he did was nod.
I turned back around and continued to walk.

5 minutes later of complete silence we arrived at my house..my parents still weren’t home. We walked in and i checked the voice mail..one of them was my mom and dad:
Hey sweetie..we won’t be back till Wednesday..the company is on a huge breakthrough .. sorry..i left some money in my dresser..see you Wednesday. love you. Beep.
“Ugh..uhm..what are you guys gonna do..while im at school on Monday and Tuesday?” i asked.

“We’re gonna come with you.” Lexie smiled.
“You are?” I said confused. “Uh how are you gonna do that?”
“We’ll sit in the back with our heads down..we’ll blend right in.”
I laughed at that..but i saw she was serious. “Oh..seriously? Alright.”

I threw a pillow and a blanket at Aiden..i was still kind of pissed at him.
“Thanks..” he said.
“Yeah.” I replied.

Me and Lexie went upstairs.
