Got It?

“Hey, Rach,” Evan smiled, flashing his dimples. “What up girls?”
“It’s Rachel,” Rachel corrected.
“Nothing much,” Ana answered, ignoring Rachel’s rudeness. “And you?” She leaned closer to Evan.
“Nothing much. Just waiting for this whole wedding thing to be over. Right, Rachel?”
Rachel rolled her eyes at him. “Yeah.”
“Well, don’t forget: moving in Saturday,” Evan reminded Rachel.
“Do you need any help with that?” Ana asked.
“Sure, could use all the help we can get,” Evan smiled.
“So, I’ll see you Saturday.” He turned to leave.
Rachel slapped Ana’s arm. “Could you be more obvious?”
“What?!” Ana cried, rubbing her arm.
“Oh, Evan, I love you,” Lili teased in a baby voice.
Everyone except Rachel laughed.
“I don’t see why you hate him,” Lili said.
“I don’t,” Rachel replied. “It’s just that my mom and I were fine until his dad swooped in. I swear my parents were this close to getting back together.”
“Um, Rach. Your dad has a girlfriend,” Janie pointed out.
Rachel scowled. “Whatever. Evan is not our friend. Got it?”
