Persuasion
I frowned, “That isn’t the same.”
He laughed, “Isn’t it? It doesn’t look very different to me, sister.”
I scowled, “They aren’t planning on actually having to use me. I’m a last resort… or a threat, I suppose. I’m the persuasion, you’re already the force.”
He looked confused, “But… what? What do you mean they won’t use you?”
I chuckled, “We aren’t trying to start a war, brother, we’re trying to stop one.”
He blinked in surprise, “Oh.”
I sighed exasperatedly, “If there’s anything that the Warlocks have done well, it’s brain-washing. Everyone’s completely biased and confused. Even I was.”
“How do you know they aren’t lying to you?” he challenged.
I chuckled, tapping the side of my head, “Mind-reading, remember? Also I can sense emotions, that helps a lot. The only person I worry about is Melisizwe. The rest are all perfectly trustworthy, Ranulf especially.”
He raised an eyebrow, “What about Dragons? They have terrible tempers. They can change their minds in an instant.”
