We pulled into the driveway, his chest hadn’t moved at all, his lips were still drawn in a tight line. I got out and ran into the house, my arm still bled slightly. pulling the bathroom door shut behind me I cleaned my arm and then rubbed it with alcohol. Changing into clean clothes, I exited the bathroom. He was leaning near the door, fingers rubbing his temples. “Sorry!” I murmured again, staying a good distance away.
“It’s not your fault.” He said opening his eyes to stare at her. “If I wasn’t a monster that wouldn’t have been a problem.”
“Your not a monster.” I whispered wrapping my arms around his waist, kissing his cheek.
” You wouldn’t need to worry about bleeding if I wasn’t a vampire.” He said quietly.
“Stop it!” I said madly unwrapping my arms and looking at him sternly. He took in my expression and sighed walking into the living room to sit on the couch.
“Why don’t you see it?” He asked angirly, throwing a pillow down in frustration.
“That’s because I see the good guy that you really are.”
