Who is this Angel Covered in Mud?

“It’s fine. Don’t get so upset about it. It’s my fault anyway,â€? She said, sprinting off.
That hurt. So she didn’t want to run with me, she should have known I’d trip her. I was so mad at myself. How could I have laughed at her? I let her run off, walking miserably in the rain and wishing I’d gone the regular way with the guys instead of branching off.
Suddenly, she was next to me again. I couldn’t imagine what could have changed her mind. I stuttered out an apology.
She stared at me for a moment, “Dude, chill. It’s no big deal. People laugh at me all the time. And I’ve fallen in the mud before.â€?
Who was this angel? She was so kind, so giving. I’d tripped her into the mud and now she was shrugging that away as some commonplace occurrence. Surely she was sent from God.
I ran next to her, suddenly thrilling at the rain pelting in my face. She was smiling too. Suddenly, we were racing. I don’t know who sped up first, but suddenly we were both sprinting towards an unseen finish line.
