A Find Day In Hell 2
A distant rumble shook the ground beneath my feet, as I dove into a cave. The stampede of hooved feet tromped past. There had to have been 50 seekers out there. I scurried into the shadows, saying, “He’s pulled out all the stops this time,”
That’s when I realized that I was alone.
“Who isn’t?”
My heart lept into my throat, my vision went red, as a low growl echoed from my chest. Through adrenaline fogged eyes, I saw hands raised defensively.
“Please,” said the voice. The rage in my breast calmed. With ragged breath i managed a query,
“Who are you? what do you want?” my throat was dry as sand.
“To hide,” replied he, “just to hide,” the man wept, “I don’t know where i am; i’m lost. This place..” he gulped between sobs, “is…wrong!”
“Welcome to Hell.” I spat, training an ear outside, “If you wish to die quickly tonight, you best be ready to run.”
A dumbed look befit my new-found friend.
“Hell, how?”
“You’re dead. And you’ll die again, tonight, and every night hereafter, unless…”
“Unless?”
