The Dove of Steel (6)

“You’d be suprised Isaac, what salvation is worth to you my dove of steel.”

Those were the last words Isaac remembered hearing before he blacked out. He knew his subconscious mind would try and make a dream or “vision”, but he couldn’t dream anymore, not after that day…

Isaac awoke surprisingly cold. His face and front half of his body were the coldest, and as he began to regain his sense, he realized why. He was on the floor.

Isaac used his remaining strength to push himself off of the floor, and looked around at the world around him. He was in a room of what appeared to be black marble, with no doors or windows, save for one which was high upon the celling. The window was small, and only cast some light, leaving the corners to be mingled with the shadows.

There seemed to be nothing in the room, but as Isaac brought his head level, he saw something in the shadows. It was a pair of legs, crouched in the way on would do the fetal position, covered up by a long, blue skirt.
