Driving North
It was an accepted fact of life for Steve that whenever he had a hot one he had to get to the Georgia Department of Transportation would close a lane or two on the interstate that ran through downtown Atlanta.
All in all for Steve it was just another piece of evidence in the grand case he was making for the existence of a major conspiracy that was out to screw him.
Not that he had that much to complain about. He was one of the top insurance adjusters in the southeast, probably only months away form a vice president job somewhere, good house, good car, and of course, the three dogs.
The car crawled toward the Spring Street exit where Steve planned to make his departure from the connector and begin to work his way north through midtown. The woman has apparently driven off of a parking deck in Buckhead.
What was a Yugo doing in Buckhead?
It was an honest thought. Buckhead being the home of Atlanta’s wealthiest. And what was someone driving a Yugo doing with a two million dollar life insurance policy?
