Rabbit holes? Great, now I’m a modern day Alice in Wonderland. This is by far the freakiest dream I’ve ever had.

But that’s what troubles me- it’s a dream. And I realise it’s a dream. That’s not how dreams are supposed to work. You’re supposed to be scared out of your mind for a few scenes, then wake up in a cold sweat, punching your pillow until it clicks that it was just a dream.

Instead, this nightmare lets me know that it’s a nightmare, and that’s what scares me the most. This isn’t my subconscience messing with me because I’m not sleeping deeply enough, this is a full-fledged, in your face, ‘I don’t care that you know I’m not real because you’re still scared’ nightmare.

I’m never eating keilbasa again.
