The Puzzle of Puzzles
Li had only heard of it in legends, read about it in books.
She was convinced that it didn’t even exist.
She was dead wrong. The puzzle of legendary proportions that dated back to the Babalonions was sitting in front of her, in all of it’s old, dusty, musty, worn-smooth-with-time glory.
Normally, she would’ve been thrilled to see such an artifact so intact. Or even that the thing existed, much less was in decent shape. But her excitement was drowned out by the fact that if she didn’t complete this puzzle within the next 24 hours, something disasterous would happen to her.
And this puzzle wasn’t legendary only in the fact that it had been elusive for all these generations. It was legendary for being impossible.
