We had a long weekend! Thursdays before a long weekend always consisted of 3 things.
1.No serious work was actually done at school until the teachers gave up and let us talk.
2.Talking was mostly about parties and “get togetherâ€? over the weekend.
3.General eccentric behaviour.
4.Halloween was also in motion so general freak behaviour was also to be expected.
Halloween day we had off school and thank god for that as Katy always spent the day of Halloween doing her hair, makeup and perfecting her costume.
Katy and I got ready together that night before going to a Halloween party at a friend of Jake’s place. We always did this as Katy also enjoyed dressing me up (as much as I would let her.) extensively.

As soon as we pulled up to the house we heard loud music and people were dancing everywhere. I knew I shouldn’t have come, but I faded into the doorway following my boyfriend and 2 best friends not knowing how we would come out.
