The Sad Life Of Mr. Germ
There once was a germ. It was just one germ. One day the germ was eating food on a moldy sandwich when he was eaten. The germ, who was a type of bacteria, ran from the odd white cells that killed his friends. The germ escaped into the throat and cried.
However, the germ found others came and the germ began to split. Now he had friends. He and his friends played in the throat and ate the occasional cell. Soon the germ had thousands of friends. The germ was happy.
Then the white cells came again. But the germ had lots of friends who fought them. The germ was sad to see some of his friends had died. What had they done? They had merely lived here, eating the occasional cell for food.
A few days later more white cells came with antibodies. The germ and his friends fought again, but then antibiotics came and poisoned the germ and his friends and family. The germ cried. Why did the mean white cells do this? They were just trying to survive.
Then the germ died and Jake recovered from his steppe throat.
