I am Jock
I didn’t really watch the movie; I was to busy watching Ceirra. Her face was a stone, betraying no emotion at all as she watched people getting cut up and eaten by zombies. Not even a flicker of emotion.
It got to a point where I wasn’t being subtle anymore, I was flat-out staring. She noticed and looked at me, her face still blank of expression. I didn’t look away and suddenly, I broke through the mask. She scowled slightly, determination blazed across her forehead as she glared at me. Oh, a staring war was it? Well, two can play at that game.
I smiled genially and stared back, unblinking, admiring her face in the flashing lights of the screen. Her face changed again, into confusion and she turned away, blushing.
Call it an impulse; I leaned forward, whispering into her ear, “Great movie.” She jumped slightly and then turned to glare at me. But that put us face to face… very close face to face, so her glare disintegrated in a second. She blushed again and looked away. I suddenly felt a little dizzy.
