No child should have to go through this,
the surgury, the pain, the tears,
all should never happen in any childhood.

happiness, laughter, friendship.
these are what should only happen,
in anyones childhood.

Yet parents scream , hit, through,
leaving the poor child half dead.
No child should have to endure,
this child endangerment, and what’s more,

it happens, when adults are drunk,
high,
angry,
stressed.
