“Mena, I didn’t know about your family, if I had known I would have come back sooner, please don’t be mad at me,” Colin begged.

“Colin, you have no idea what I’ve been through these past four years while you went off to college in California. I was stuck here to pick up the pieces after the accident.”

“I’m not the same person I was when you left Colin, and your leaving made it all the worse,” said Mena.

“You will never know how sorry I am Mena, Please forgive me, I had my reasons,” Colin stated.

“I’m not interested in hearing your reasons Clon, Please go,” Mena said flatly.

Colin looked forlournly at his love and walked away, his head down like a scolded child.

A tear dropped from Mena cheek as Colin tunred and walked away, forever this time.
It was for the best Mena told herself. For both of them.
