wow what an un expected twist in events. He thinks shes dead.. but shes not. This story is very bitter sweet

Very dramatic tale of superstition, perception, and fate. Nice job on the dad’s conflicted emotions.

I like the way you took a simple, unlucky number (4) and turned into a complete series. You truly are a master (mistress?) of words.
