I’m fascinated by stories about homunculuses (homunculi?) As always you did an excellent job on this ficlet. Maybe I’ll even sequel – got a germ of an idea and need to let it grow a bit to fill 1024.

Ok first? I freaking love the name “Griselda.” Perfect perfect name for the kid. Second, man this is creepy, a good creepy. I love the heck out of it. Seems almost like it’s either going to be a clinical attempt at exorcism with the asbestos suits and Doctor Mandrose, or else the Doc and company are going to perform insidious experiments on poor Griselda. Did I mention I love that name? :) – Either way, this is really outstanding.

That was absolutely terrifying. I also feel Griselda is the perfect name for the poor inhabited girl. Great job capturing the picture and that last line was incredible.

The oversized pupil in her right eye and hallow look of her features is frightening, but mixed in your Ambrose Bierce style story and I’m truely spooked. I love horror fiction, and I give is 11 stars out of 10 on the creepy scale, but on the flicet scale I can only give you 5. Thanks for an enjoyable story.

Yeesh! I winced when I saw that picture. Her eyes really pierce you. Your story was even more haunting, which is remarkable. Fantastic work, as usual from you. (You’re on a roll today, by the way!)

Creepy name for a creepy kid, told in a dark creepy manner, you can say this ficlet gave me ..yeah the creeps.
