I watched his face with keen distraction, anything to push the seering pain into a dark corner, where it could lay sadated for a bit. He smiled, the same demonic expression as always. His lips creasing at the edge as the narrowed, folding over each other in a cold expressionless glare. His eyebrows shot up, thin and disturbed the made his face shine with a dark sillhoutte.
My words wouldn’t come, I opened my mouth but the air stung my parched lips, it hesitated, drifting past them into my half open mouth, filling it with the disease.
“Tut tut,” He said, his mouth open, his jaws wide almost, sucking in the intoxicated air. It was always intoxicated, the earth’s atmosphere was about as thin as a piece of paper, lose a few nanometers.
He made his way over to me, as graceful and horrific as any predator, his face tantilizingly rugged. The creature really was beautiful, his cheeks stuck up at odd angles like a antogonistic cat, and sunken in enough to give him a deadned haunted look.
