Through the flesh and Arvians

The group of Arvians around us dispersed, apparently accepting us as part of their race.
I couldn’t see as well in my new form, and had to rely on my sense of touch to navigate the various fleshy channels and canals. I occasionally bumped into another Arvian, in which case the other would practically caress my body with its sensors, then move on.

Eventually we made our way to a large congregation of Arvians, all of which seemed to be swarming to one room in particular.
“I think this is the queen’s room.” Ashley spoke from behind me. I guess it’s a good thing I couldn’t see all that well, for I don’t think she would’ve been very easy on the eyes in her new form…
“Yea, me t-” I stopped as I entered the room. My mouth, or now pincers, dropped as I saw a blury mass of millions of Arvians swarming in this one palace of a room that seemed to breathe with life all around. At the center was the largest and most terrifying beast I’d ever seen. The Queen.
