A Job is a Job: The Jersey Boys

Dad said it best, ” a job is a job,” who were we to turn down the Don. No one turns down the Don. Not twice anyway.
My brother, Tony No Toes, well he’s missing all his toes for a reason. That was a warning for when he wussed out on a’ job’ a few years back. He coulda been nicknamed ‘Tony the Wuss’. In fact he mighta preferred that name come to think of it.
But I digress. When the Don gives you a job, you do it, no questions asked. Like the sneaker commercial so aptly puts it, Just Do It.

So the ‘job’ was, watching Sen. Barry Odorn’s New Jersey apartment. Seein who came in and who went out. Easiest assignment we was ever given. So ya’d think.
So me and Vinnie staked out the place like we was a coulpa cops, wit out da donuts.

At 2 am in walks two guys. One pretty. One not so.
We was here to get dirt for da boss. Bingo. Paydirt.
Vinnie took out da camera and snapped some photos.
The not so pretty guy came out five minutes later. The pretty one stayed the night.
Tony and I took turns sleeping.
