I apologize for the cheesy title in advance; it barged its way in at the end and insisted it be used.

I liked it. It starts off with a fantasy/sci-fi feel to it, like an old Twilight Zone or Night Gallery episode, and then ended up a little allegorical.

Yeah. It would have been a little odder towards the end in the original idea; somewhere on it, presumably, there’d be a painting of the painting, and possibly even the painter.

But, as you know, limits on space ;)

Overall haunting and intriguing. It stays with you long after you’ve finished reading it. Loved the last line.
