In battle
This was war.
A glorious battle, both sides in a vicious dance, circling the battleground with no weariness to be seen.
It was a beautiful torment. The smaller warriors rushing forward, trying to provoke their enemy’s ruler. She followed their persecution from her lofty position, the stone cold look in their eyes pleased her.
She struck out. Down goes one trooper, there goes another. Soon half the battlefield is wiped out.
The final blow shocked everyone, especially the ebony rulers and the brave knight who finished them.
“Checkmate.”
