Officer Hawkins walked in the house. He went up the stairs and down the hall. He took a breath, as he was getting ready to turn a corner. He turned and pointed his gun. There was no one there. How could it be that there was no one in the house? There had to be someone in the house. He heard an officer yell “sir, you should come and see thisâ€? Officer Hawkins went down stairs and into the attic and looked in a toy box. Inside there was a baby with an oxygen mask over his face.
“Who would do such a thing? Jesus Christ, what the hell are those thingsâ€? He picked up what seemed to be a twizzler but in fact was an earthworm. “Get the baby to the hospital. I’ll take care of the restâ€?
