The Greatest Single Night of Your Life
Thoroughly confident he would seal the deal with Becca, Paul returned his attention to his date. “Where have you been my whole life?” Paul asked, leering at Prandi.
She may not have understood his line, but she had no problem understanding his intent. “I have been in India waiting patiently for the day that a handsome American gentleman would try to woo me with a mouth full of fajitas and the foul stench of Tequila on his breath.”
Paul grinned, noticing Jameson beaming in his periphery. He quickly recovered.
And tried another line. “So you wanna get drunk, head to my place and ride the mechanical bull?”
Jameson read the exasperated expression on Prandi’s face and kicked Paul under the table.
Paul smiled and turned his attention to his friend. “Sly move, trying to bogart both of the girls, but I play for keeps.” Paul said, before smiling innocently at Prandi. “I bet you he’s been feeding you lies about me, talking himself up. Rest assured, babe, I can offer you the greatest single night of your life.”
