Him
Old Navy was just a few feet down the sidewalk now as Jack and Anna had entered the shopping strip.
“So what exactly is your style?” Jack asked amsued.
Anna was just about to answer with a sarcastic remark ready in mind, when something stopped her. Or rather, someone. She stopped walking, her feet melted into the sidewalk. She felt the pure fear she’d felt the last time she’d seen him. The way she felt shaky like an earthquake and yet unable to move at the same time. The way she could feel her blood stop cold in her body, but how stangely her heart pumped faster. The way it seemed her mind stopped thinking completely and yet 1000 horrid memories were racing through her head. Scared, afraid, horrified, terrified, frightened….all of them, an understatement. She felt the word for which she was feeling hadn’t been invented yet. Suddenly, she felt like she was choking.
“Anna breathe!”
Anna gasped, at the man she saw walking into Old Navy.
