I like the desperation in this ficlet.
Just a couple of edits to make it even better:
1) “the thunders anger and the lightenings need” should be “the thunder’s anger and the lightening’s need” with the apostrophes
2) I think you meant “hollow laugh” and not “hallow laugh”
