“2 days?!?” I replied.
“Yes, 2 days.” The nurse started to check if I was alright with some tests. Like, blood pressure, reflexes, heart beat, ect.
After the nurse left, Lauren started to get up and she looks over at me, seeing me awake. She started to have watery eyes and presses her head against me softly. She must know that everything aches.
“I’m so glad you are Ok,” she said.
“I’m just glad to see you here.”

I hear the door open and see Thomas coming in and said, “Oh, not again. What have I told you before! Keep it PG!!”
Lauren starts to blush a little.
“I guess you never change, not even after an accident.”
“Nope!”
I laughed and said, “I’m guessing you are the one who got released today?”
“Yep.”
I saw Brandi, the Golden Child, and Emily walk in.
“Are we interrupting something?” Brandi asked. “If we are, we’ll just leave.”
“No, you aren’t. Good thing we came in though. They would have…” before Thomas could finish, I threw some bread at him and everyone laughs, even he did.
