Walk Away
I made my way out of the room and the spectators made way for me as soon as they saw me coming. Apparently, none of them wanted to get in the middle of what was going on.
I made it to the kitchen where there were still a bunch of people from the party. I turned around to try to find a less crowded way out of the house or even better, to find Mallory, but I turned to find Josh at my heels instead.
“Just, just listen!” Josh pleaded.
“I don’t want to hear about what was going on in there!” I practically shouted.
“I wasn’t going to tell you that!” Josh cried, “Just talk to me!”
“No,” I finished as I turned to walk away, “I don’t ever want to see you ever again,” I told him in a surprisingly calm tone.
I kept walking and was in a secluded area of the house near Lucy Stevens’s bedroom.
Somebody grabbed my arm and pulled me into her room and shut the door behind us.
I started to silently freak out when I saw that it was Josh again.
He was guarding the door now and I had no more places to walk away…
