Purple People Eater! OMG I had this on a 45 when I was little and I LOVED it. You so totally rocked this challenge THX ! I laughed, I loved the Dr. Demento ref (he needs his own XM channel), best ending ever and a brilliant interpretation of the cool challenge. Really, really loved this. OMG , just read the tags and realized I’m a moron. My parents were that warped! I have fond (trully strange) memories of my dad singing to me about that purple people eater.

My parents were that warped, too, but for some reason I didn’t recognize it when I read this. I loved the “down-home” diction of your characters (i.e., wangs and unee-corn were just two of my favorites). Great job.

Ahh yes this song resurrects fond memories from childhood.. mostly about Halloween.. Love the dialog.. And the use of colloquial.

I love this dialgue. Reminds me of that OLD Amos’n’Andy Radio show from the 30’s, 40’s and the 50’s!!!
