Beat Part 4.
Standing alone at my locker before school starts is probably the best time of the day. No one is bugging me to do anything or nagging me to do something with my life. “TAYLOR!” someone screamed. When I turned to look you screamed, I saw it was Ashley.
“Heey.”
“Hey. I called you yesterday but you weren’t home.” She said
I should have known I thought. “Yeah, I walked to A&W.”
“Oh. Well I just wanted to tell you that you should sit with me and my friends at lunch.”
“I don’t know. I-”
“Come on. Who else are you going to sit by?”
I thought about this for a minute and reliezed that every day through sixth, seventh, eigth, and so far ninth grade I have sat by myself at lunch. “Okay.”
Eventually lunch rolled around and I right away looked for Ashley and her friends. “TAYLOR!” Now I know everytime I hear my name being screamed its going to be Ashley. I made my way to the table and sat down next to her. When I looked up I saw a dark, shaggy haired boy looking at me.
“Hey, I’m Noah” he said.
