Spelling: escalate, their, sadness, exactly, and what is temperous?

Aside from those silly nit-picky things, I can feel his despair. I sometimes avoid putting faith into my writing, which is silly. It is a part of being human! I have to learn to embrace it! :)

This is well done (save for a few nit-picky things that Elsha pointed out). Having experienced similar events in my childhood, I’d say you did a very good job capturing the hurt and pain that it can cause the kids who have to lie there and listen to it.
