perhaps a sequel? it doesnt feel finished to me…but maybe thats just cuz i dont know enough about the specific topic. im always surprised at what topics ppl choose, but it was really well written. thanks for entering!

Definitely a thought provoking one. As much as I love our country, we have several dark chapters in our history. This is definitely from one of them.

Unfortunately, Six, there are too many that do not know about this (very important) specific topic in our history. This is a rather choppy version of what I started with, because of editing, but I wanted to end it in one Ficlet. (I tend to get a bit hot headed and over express my opinions when touching on this subject. ;) )

I am also unaware of the specific events this has changed, but I thought it was very well written. I could almost see the characters here. I’ll have to read up on “The Trail of Tears.”
As THX said, I know we have many, many dark chapters in our history (and we keep piling more on top of that stack). It is important that we continue to bring them up as a reminder of what not to do, and learn from our mistakes.

I don’t think putting up united resistance would have helped them much.
