The Basement
And in this world without Stephen, everything was new and something to discover. Everything was something I hadn’t learned yet. And this amazing adventure started in the old, deserted basement of the school with drugs. And James, of course.
“So can I ask you something?â? I asked him while he sucked some green into his nose, coughing a little bit. “Is your name really James?â?
He smiled and his ring glittered in the dim light. “Jameson.â?
“Wow that seems totally unlike you.â?
“Really? So, how exactly do you know what I’m like?â?
He was acting like a jerk, but I guess I really don’t know him. I will soon though.
“I was trying to find out but you’re just snorting away.â? I stated.
“Fine then.â? he turned his beautiful eyes on me. “You’ve got my attention. Ask me anything you want. But first, you want some?â? He passed the bowl to me and I took it. For all he knows I could be a girl who smokes. Hell, I could be anyone with him. So as part of my new life, I sucked some up, coughed and began to ask him questions.
