Oh, I am glad you continued the story! Keep it up, it’s exciting stuff. Loving the language here, very noirish, “dame,” and all that. To think that my silly challenge inspired such an awesome story. :)

Wow, great continuation. I loved the whole saint or not a saint dynamic in the main character’s head. Awesome and serious next step off of a rather silly challenge. Now that’s impressive.
