Can't Be Pleased
I sighed and jumped down, twenty stories, and walked, invisible among the mortals. I put out the fires and rebuilt the buildings… planning the entire time. I adore humans. They’re so fun. Especially ones in this era. Clueless. Completely clueless.
I’ll miss the fire. Oh well, I’ll live. It’s hard for me not to. And I can always start new ones. I pushed my shoulder length black hair behind an ear and resumed my place on the building. The man that had been talking looked bewildered, and it sent the other humans back into panic. I sighed.
“You can’t be pleased!” I yelled. “I try everything! You don’t like your buildings on fire, and then you freak out when I fix it! I don’t get it!”
