Well today the nightmare was going to take a turn. It was either going to get a little better or much worse. He was going to do all he could to get justice for Elizabeth, but there was only so much he could do.

Today was the day that Gracie Thompson would go on trial. Today was the day that hopefully 12 members of a jury would find Gracie guilty of all her offenses. It had been a long wait, there was always some random delay, postponing the trial, but the day was finally here.

Jacob rolled out of bed. He went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and saw his reflection. I look terrible. What ever happened to the happy guy without a care in the world? Guess he died too. He went back to his room to get ready for what he figured was going to be one of the last days that held any importance in his life. Or so he thought…
