“What?!” Morgan yelled, panic over taking her, “How’d this happen?! Oh my god! Why doesn’t it hurt?!” The tears started but not from pain. “Don’t worry, you’re going to be fine,” Mr. Karl tried to reassure Morgan, “the ambulence will be here soon enough.” Right on time the paramedics arrived.
The paramedics seemed oddly calm considering they were dealing with a person who should be dead. “Ok everyone back to class,” Mr. Karl was instructing, “Clear out.” The paramedics carried her into the ambulence, gave her a shot, and everything went black.
Morgan woke up in the hospital a few hours later. “The bullet went right through there’s nothing to worry about,” the doctor was telling her parents. Morgan opened her eyes. Wait a sec. Those aren’t my parents, she thought as two men in suits and sunglasses came into focus. “Well her healing abilities would have taken care of any damage. Who knows, maybe there was damage and she healed before you could of found it?” one of the men said. Healing abilities?
