Before anybody asks, yep, this is the end (well, sort of) to the ‘Pretty Things’ series. I may do something with it off-site, but this is how I always intended it to finish. Whew.

That was a great series. I love the wounded return to family and everyday life that Agent Lefleur envies but cannot accept.

You know, I confess to having read this hit-and-miss over the last couple of months, but re-reading it now from front to back – this is one hell of a narrative. I commend you for seeing this through and creating such good characters. This one’s title rolls nicely off the tongue, too.

I think this is a nice send-off to a great series. Leaves some questions open, but we have the sense that the good guys won out in the end.
Is Agent Lefleur based on Al from Die Hard? I only ask because of the Twinkie. =P

Nice wrap-up. Gives nice closure. And if I may be so bold as to make a suggestion? If you have a good bit of time, I’d suggest you extend this (possibly) to a novel. It’d be really good! Or you could save it for April to use during Script Frenzy. But overall, well done on this series.

The whole twinkies and soda thing is more of a nod to my brother who would celebrate milestones with Little Debbie Zebra cakes and red soda. That didn’t seem quite tough enough, and harder to write, so I went with Twinkies and Ginger Ale.

Can I just say how much I love the titles of each installment in this series? Especially this one, though. It’s as brilliant as its content.

This is the only one I’ve read, but now I want to read the preceding ones.

Thank goodness I found this ficlet, and with it, one of my (possibly) favorite series on ficlets.

It’s been an amazing journey with these characters.
