torn apart.
A late summer day, Jen decided that she’s not going to take any more of this indecisiveness. She has to find out.
“Hello?”
“Hey megan, It’s jen”
“Oh. hey.”
“Look, we need to talk.”
“What is there to talk about?”
“you KNOW what I mean. All the things I’ve been hearing, about you talking behind my back, about all the rumors.”
Jen and Megan have been best friends ever since they can remember. They have just gone through freshmen year, and highschool has change their relationship. Jen became more popular, because she’s not afraid to be even more out there than she already is. Megan, on the other hand, felt like she was fading away in Jen’s life. Yet she isn’t willing to talk to Jen, because jealousy was a dangerous monster.
“Are you really willing to throw away a friendship on things you’ve heard?” Megan replied.
“I haven’t just heard. I’ve seen your conversations with other people online.”
“They had no right.”
“But they were right about you.”
