I was in love
The hot summer breeze blew on my as I took my first sip of wine, Strawberry wine. He watched me for my reaction, then laughed as I smiled.
“You dribbled,” he whispered. I went to wipe it off, but he grabbed my hand. “I’ll get it.” He leaned forward, his mouth moving closer to mine. Then they touched, and I felt everything in my mind vanish but him. I put a hand against his cheek, and let myself be pulled closer to him. I felt his warm kisses move against my cheek, then on my forehead. I opened my eyes, taking in everything. The creek beside me, gurgling with life, the trees sweating in the heat, and the guy infront of me who had stolen my heart. I was seventeen, and I was in love.
