I know I would like to walk away, to be gone and done with this place.
Truth is, if I walked out today, and left town in a cloud of dust, every problem that I’ve had would probably stay with me.
It would mean so much more to me, and would probably make the pain easier to bear, if someone was with me, at least spiritually.
I’m not asking that you go with me on that road, but keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
All I wanted was someone to love, and you broke my heart.
However, I’ve moved on from that, and knowing your situation in life, I’m ready to forgive you.
Question is, will you accept it?
