Pills to calm you, pills to keep you up.
Pills to lose weight, pills to get buff.
Pills to relieve stress, pills to add a bit of excitement to your life.

I have always despised those people who have centered their whole lives around pills, popping them like clockwork. I refuse to take medication for my depression. I don’t take pills for headaches, I do some yoga poses instead. And I’ve never been one to take a Ritalin or two just becuase I can. Sure, we all have acess to them. Prescription drugs are one of the most abused drugs in the country, second only to marijuana.

I’ve always thought that I had a strong connection to my beliefs. But now as I stand here, ready to down the pill given to me only moments before, I’m not so sure any more.
