“Wow. I wonder what he was busy with,” Mitchie said to me as we were walking to our Latin class. “Or who he was busy with.”
“Mitchie, why do you always have to be so negitive?” I was expecting her to be really happy for me. Adam was a bit of everything. He was in all honors classes, he played on the school lacross team, and he was always looked like he was having a great time with everyone he hung out with
“Well, some conversation starters I’ll give you are colleges, senior year, that new chick flick that just came out-oh, you think I’m serious, Amber?” She noticed me giving her an annoyed look. “Look, I was just kidding. I’m sure Adam is a great guy! I’m just not into the popular type. I like the shy type.” She gave me one of her ‘Mitchie smiles’ as I liked to call them.
We walked into class. I tryed really hard to pay attention to the lesson we were having, but I was just to excited about hanging out with Adam in less than 40 minutes!
