“Hey nut-job wake up!”
J.D. looked around to find the source of the disturbance.
“When did you get here?”
“Bout’ an hour go.”
“what did you do?”
“I was about to ask you the same thing, they said we are in cohoots, i figured i mine as well get to know you before the trial tomorrow.”
“What trial, and i don’t know you from Adam.”
A crow flew onto the window of the jail.
“Mister J.D. we have to do sumtin’ its urgent.”
“What the hell is wrong with me.”
“Something bad man.” replied the stranger.”
“I wattin talkin to you i was talkin to the bird.”
“Oh that explains the straight jacket.”
“Mister J.D you gotta quit playin round and listen.”
“I aint playin round is that you Charlie littleOwl?”
“No my name is Spencer.”
They both yelled, “Not you.” but the bird’s response just sounded like a squack.
“Grandpa said you gotta kill the Spider Queen or kill ourselves.”
The sheriff’s legs became three feet of jello, and then stranger said,” That’s the name, we’re arrested for murdering Charlie LittleOwl.”
