“Shadow you have got to be the wierdest person that I have ever met.”

“How is that so Serenity? Because I believe in the supernatural?”

“No, because you are standing on your head in the middle of the rain outside the house.” She was standing inside the house at the window talking to Shadow.

“First off,” Shadow rolls off his head and onto his butt looking at her, “I’m not stanidng on my head, and I just happen to like the rain thank you very much!”

She laughed some and jumps out the window landing next to him and smiles, “So, we’ve been on the same ninja squad for what, two years now?”

“Yeah, something like that, why is that a problem Serenity?:

“No, it just is wierd I’ve never been friends with anybody this long.”

“I don’t know why you’re a great girl and a great friend too. From what I’ve seen if you weren’t on my ninja squad I’d probably like you.”

“So you don’t because of that?”

“I can’t we both know that.. I’m sorry, I do like you but because of who we are we can’t be together.”
