I Don't Want To Spoil The Party
When the two of us emerged out into the hallway, we saw Allison carrying Rohn on her lap in her wheelchair out the front door. We found out later that, supposedly, someone had called his mom and sister, Dara, gay and he totally flipped out. He nearly got into a fist fight with a boy nearly half his age and size!
As Rohn and Allison sped down the street through the clear night Rohn kept shouting, “911! 911!” Why? Well we may never know.
People began filing back into the school because the scene was over and the dance resumed. It may not have been preventable but I felt guilty because I knew that if I had done something as simple as dancing with Rohn, he may not have heard what the boy had said; he would have most likely been way out of ear shot.
So Rohn wasn’t the perfect guy I had thought he was. Sure he was funny, cute, and smart but he could also be violent towards other guys at school which I would later find out.
On Monday morning, Rohn just rolled his eyes at me as he got into the car.
