One day after he had dropped her off at home, after school, she walked in to see her mother with some clothes for her to try on. The first thing her mom handed her to try on was a t-shirt. She had no choice put to put it on and let her mom see the bruises. As she took off her hoodie excuses for the bruises ran through her head. None of them believable. She put the shirt on and turned to face her mother. Her mom took one look at her and stared in pure horror.
