I can’t promise I’ll never be a dick again, but I promise never to cheat on you, lie to you, or hurt you ever again.” Robert saw in Greg’s eyes that these words were sincere, and smiled a little. “Ok, I’ll stay. But promise me you’ll talk to James again.” Greg frowned and sat down. He knew SOMEONE was going to tell him that, but still wasn’t prepared. He had no clue what to tell him. He knew what happened with Amber dying wasn’t his fault, but he couldn’t say that. He knew leading him on wasn’t smart, but he couldn’t admit he was wrong. He sighed and leaned back in his chair. Robert knew what Greg’s problem was and sat don next to him. “I know admitting you’re wrong isn’t your favorite thing to do, but he is your best friend. If he truly cares for you, he would look past all the stupid shit you do and forgive you.”
