Alive part 6
He knew I was trying to escape, so he gripped tighter.
“This isn’t a dream,” he repeated.
I ripped away from him, somewhat shocked. My eyes ran up his body and I almost smiled in pain.
“If you’re going to leave me, do it for good. Stop torturing me,” the need to smile vanished.
“I’ve never left, Ava,” he lied. He reached for me, but was denied by the smack my hand. A tear fell from my face. I couldn’t keep away from him when I knew he was exactly what I wanted. I crushed my body against his and just hoped he didn’t notice I was clearly defeated. He was worth my mind and soul. More tears fell to his bare feet, but his eyes stayed closed. He eventually wiped my stained face with his white shirt.
“I love you, William,” I grinned.
“Don’t get too attached,” He smirked back.
I fell beneath the long grass and my dainty dress fell around me.
“If you are going to confuse me, then just kill me now.” I begged.
The oxygen drained from my lungs and with both hands over my face, I was going to keep it this way.
